Dragon actually

In this playful paranormal romance, Annwyl the Bloody is a fierce warrior princess on the run from her murderous brother. Badly wounded and near death, she stumbles into a cave seeking shelter—only to discover it's inhabited by a dragon. But this is no ordinary dragon: Fearghus the Destroyer can shift into human form, and despite his fearsome reputation, he's surprisingly gentle with the prickly, foul-mouthed woman who's invaded his lair. What begins as reluctant caretaking soon sparks into an unlikely attraction between two beings who are both far more than they seem. This first book in the Dragon Kin series blends sword-and-sorcery adventure with steamy romance and irreverent humor. The story subverts typical fantasy romance tropes with a heroine who's genuinely brutal and battle-scarred rather than merely "feisty," and a hero who finds himself smitten despite centuries of carefully maintained solitude. Readers looking for a lighter take on dragon shifter romance with banter-filled chemistry, action-packed fight scenes, and characters who don't take themselves too seriously will find this an entertaining escape. The mix of fantasy world-building, found family dynamics, and explicit romantic content makes it particularly appealing to fans of paranormal romance who enjoy their love stories with sharp edges and sharper wit.
