2.5 ⭐ it's a "cute" book....the message is mostly wholesome but it's not very original, nor is the execution. the dialogue is not realistic which kept taking me out of it. same thing with the actions of all the characters - distracting because not realistic. sometimes it just felt like a collection of platitudes.

edit: after some time i think it's more of a 2/2.5 stars for me? I liked it, don't get me wrong, I think this is a very important book and after seeing how much it has helped a lot of people, I am so glad it exists!!! I think this would've helped me a lot at some points in my life where everything was.. not great, so if it helps people, I'm all for it. Also I read it in less that a day, so so so easy to get through I guess my issue is that it sometimes felt a little too "self help" for my taste, which isn't bad in and of itself, it is just my preference I'm glad I read it and I did highlight some things that struck me, it just didn't blow my mind but I guess I didn't need to be blown away I'd still 100% recommend it
