Hot take: I didn't love this book. I never fully got into it. It was pretty different from what I expected it to be, and I had high expectations. It only gets a fourth star bc it's one of the classics and was definitely very unique and horrifying at the time of its publication. I don't think it really fits either of those descriptors in today's world
