4.5 rounded up because it made me cry. So many feels! Also so many graphic details of the murders. I read Karin Slaughter books so I'm no noob to graphic murder/torture details but when it's kids, it becomes a bit tougher to take. My biggest take away is that Mr. Cosby writes beautifully. There were so many passages - even phrases - that made me stop and reread because of word choice. I just love his language and voice. I'd read anything he wrote just for that. The excellent plot and characters and tough to figure out mystery were an added bonus.
