Caught Up

I truly loved everything about this and was exactly what I wanted to read. It gave me the feeling one of my all time favorite books had given me and I'm so excited about that<3 I wanna wrote more in my review because it's been a few days and I cant stop thinking about them or this book. especially kai and how he was with baby max. seriously I think my heart melted and has stayed like that because they were everything. and don't even get me started on how miller was with max. and monty and his relationship with everyone. isaiah and kai and their backstory and their relationship in the present. they have my whole heart. I loved the cooking scenes, I loved the traveling scenes and I looved the spicy scenes so much. seriously. the mouth on kai rhodes? I could write an essay. he is the most caring character and loving while also a little grumpy and everything that I love in an mmc. he was such a good dad to max too and the way max was always his priority made me obsessed. I especially love this scene and has stuck with me. when little max was sick and only wanted his dadda (I'm distraught) but they made kai go talk to fans so he held him to his chest with a jacket as a blanket to cover him as he cried and then how he held both miller and max on his lap during the flight as they all slept. I CAN'T. SOMEBODY SEDATE ME. AND MY GIRL MILLS???? THE BADASS THAT SHE IS BUT ALSO THE BEST MOM BEFORE SHE EVEN KNEW HIW TO BE ONE?? the scene where max was going to take his first steps and she took him to kai. I could cry. HE TOOK HIS FIRST STEPS TOWARDS HIS DAD IN FRONT OF THE WHOLE TEAM WHO CHEERED HIM ON AND LOVE HIM LIKE HE IS ONE OF THEM. THE FACT THAT THEY THOUGHT MAX WAS TRYING TO SAY MILLER'S NAME BUT HE WAS CALLING HER MAMMA ALL ALONG AND WOULDN'T STOP EVEN AFTER SHE LEFT BUT ALSO HOW DEVASTATED KAI WAS? the line about his heart breaking for miller but also for both him and his son will live in my head forever. and an honorable mention to kai asking her if she thinks she won't get attached if she isn't looking at him because oh my god. the epilogue with the proposal was also the sweetest and best thing ever. only thing I could possibly complain about is wanting more.
