Written in the early 1940s, this book has endearing story lines as well as the usual 5-6 culprits to a murder. A sweet, short, captivating read. I'm glad I've landed upon her decent books again. This one, like many of her others, addresses layers of sexism within her world by showing examples women's lives and their options in the years the book was written.
