About Yours Truly
AI-generatedDr. Briana Ortiz's life is turned upside down when her brother needs a kidney transplant and her ex-fiancé proves to be utterly unreliable. Enter Dr. Jacob Maddox, the new physician in her hospital who seems impossibly perfect—kind, thoughtful, and surprisingly willing to get tested as a potential donor for a colleague he barely knows. What begins as professional gratitude transforms into something deeper when Jacob starts leaving Briana handwritten letters, a charmingly old-fashioned gesture that melts her guarded heart. Their growing connection is complicated by their workplace dynamics and Briana's reluctance to trust again after being burned. This contemporary romance tackles weighty themes like family obligation, medical crises, and the courage it takes to open yourself up to love after heartbreak, all while maintaining a warm, hopeful tone. Jimenez excels at creating swoon-worthy heroes, and Jacob's genuine kindness and grand romantic gestures make him utterly irresistible. The epistolary elements through his letters add an intimate, personal touch that deepens the emotional connection between the characters. With its perfect balance of steam, substance, and heartfelt moments, this novel will appeal to readers who love romances featuring compassionate characters, medical settings, and relationships built on genuine friendship and mutual respect rather than mere attraction.

i started reading this book and immediately thought, we have a winner here babeee for the most part that was true, I loved their relationship and at the beginning the comunication was absolutely wonderful!!! but then by the second half of the book I began to feel a bit tired of the repetitiveness of the miscommunication. like maybe it was dragged a bit too long, and I would've liked for some more time exploring and working on briana's trauma and depression, i felt like it was addressed and resolved so quickly? but I loved this book, I couldn't stop reading it, it made me laugh out loud and i loved the characters so much. this helped me go through a very difficult time and i appreciate it so much because of that thanks to my friend valeria for recommending it, she totally nailed it
