I thought the idea of a toad like fairy who is watching the briar patch was an interesting take as well as the twists with the baby and the more fairy oriented mythology. But I didn't find the prince of this story that interesting and the finale of the story was a little lackluster. I thought the writing was manageable and the structure of flashbacks worked but not happy overall. 3.5/5
